Preparation

Step 1

Protect people, vehicles, property, plants and all surfaces not designated to receive Concreation Acrylic Concrete Sealer from the product, splash and wind drift. Use polyethylene or other proven protective material.

Do not apply to surfaces, which are frozen, dirty or have standing water. Surfaces must be clean, dry and absorbent. Confirm surface absorbency with a light spray, surfaces designated for treatment should wet uniformly. If the surface does not wet uniformly, use the Concreation 700 Cleaner and Concreation 750 Cleaner or mechanical process to remove remaining surface contaminants. Refer to Concreation 700 Cleaner and Concreation 750 Cleaner for complete application instructions.

Step 2

Concreation Acrylic Concrete Sealer is ideal for application to existing, cured concrete of any age. Surfaces must be clean and structurally sound. Remove all foreign materials including bond breakers, curing agents, surface grease and oil, and construction debris using Concreation 700 Cleaner and Concreation 750 Cleaner. Refer to Concreation 700 Cleaner and Concreation 750 Cleaner for complete application instructions. For the best results it is recommended that Concreation GreenSil WA be used as a prime coat prior to the application of Concreation Acrylic Concrete Sealer. Refer to Concreation GreenSil WA for complete application instructions.

Application

Step 1

Surfaces and Air temperatures for applications should be 4 – 38^oC Apply with Chapin sprayer only. Variations in the concrete quality, porosity, job site conditions, temperature and relative humidity will affect coverage rates and drying times. Generally Concreation Acrylic Concrete Sealer will cover about 250 sq.ft. per gal.

Step 2

Surfaces must be completely dry and free of debris. Apply with a chemical resistant Chapin sprayer. Apply an even mist to wet, but not to soak at a rate of 250 sq.ft. per gal.

Step 3

Surface should be dry to the touch. Repeat Step 3 at least one more allowing &frac1/2; to 2 hours between recoats. Concreation Acrylic Concrete Sealer can be applied 3-4 times depending of thickness of coat.
