POLYBLEND® Non-Sanded Grout
A polymer-modified grout designed for highly glazed or polished tile,marble and natural stone that would be scratched by sanded grouts. This durable, non-shrinking grout accommodates joints to 1/8″ (3mm) and can be used for interior or exterior installations, including floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains and pools.
Vitreous, Semi-vitreous or non-vitreous tile: ceramic, mosaic, quarry, cement body tile.

POLYBLEND® Sanded Grout
Produces hare, dense joints that resist shrinking, cracking and wear. Formulated for durability, color consistency and quick curing, Polyblend® Sanded Grout Accommodates 1/8″ – 1/2″ (3 -13mm) joints for interior or exterior installations, including floors, countertops, walls, ceilings, showers, fountains and pools.
Suitable Tile Types
- Vitreous, semi-vitreous or non-vitreous: ceramic, mosaic, quarry, cement body tile
- Impervious porcelain and glass tile
- Brick and stone veneer
- Cement-based precast terrazzo
- Natural Stone tile

Limitations
- Should not be installed when ambient surface temperature is lower than 600F (100C) or higher than 1000F (380C).
- Some ceramic tile, marble or stone can be scratched, stained or damaged by sanded or pigmented grout. While grout is generally best for light-colored marble or granite. Test a small area prior to use.Polyblend® Non-Sanded Grout may be appropriate for tile not suitable for sanded grout.
- Tile with high absorption, surface porosity or rough, textured surfaces and certain types of porcelain may require sealing prior to grouting to prevent staining. Use Tilelab® SurfaceGard® Sealer to prevent grout staining, when required.
- Color variation can occur due to tile type, tile porosity, jobsite conditions, application and cleaning techniques. Variation can be minimized by following directions and using as little water as possible for cleanup.
- Chemicals in salt-based pool filtration systems can cause a reaction with blue, green and red grouts. Contact Technical Services for recommendations.
